समृद्धीची गुढी उभारू,
आला चैत्र पाडवा…
सोनेरी पहाट उंच गुढीचा थाट..
आनंदाची उधळण अन सुखांची बरसात…
दिवस सोनेरी
नव्या वर्षाची सुरुवात…

As we celebrate Gudhi Padwa this year, we are certainly missing the fun activities that we get to enjoy together as a community. We hope all of you are doing well and are adjusting well to the new social distancing norms.
The UMM Committee has been discussing ways we can all celebrate Gudhi Padwa together as a family! We would love it if all of you can share your Gudhi Padwa Pictures with us using #UMMGudhiPadwa2020 on Facebook.
Additionally, the committee has been working on the following ideas to keep the community connected and channel our focus on positive activities
- Webinar: Marathi Story Reading for kids
- Webinar: Create Your WordPress Blog
- Social: Post photos of fun activities, recipes or any other ideas that you want to share. Post those ideas on FB and tag it with #UMMSunShine on FB
We hope to collect vivid memories of how we worked together as a family to go through these unprecedented times. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any suggestions or would like to conduct an online webinar for our community members.
COVID Support:
We want to thank any teachers, healthcare workers and other essential service providers from amongst our UMM community!
As the current COVID19 conditions continue to rapidly evolve we wanted to start putting together plans to support our community members if and when any need arises. We understand that we may not be able to provide any medical help but we want to be there, in any possible ways we can, to help each other.
Here are a few ideas that we will be working on and would love to get Volunteer support for:
- Community Support: To help with Grocery or medicine drop off if any of our members are quarantined
- UMM COVID Blog Page: To serve as a resource for helpful Local Updates
