Happy New Year 2019

नमस्कार

नवीन वर्षाच्या हार्दिक शुभेच्छा!

२०१९ हे नवीन वर्ष आपल्या सर्वांना आनंदाचे, भरभराटीचे आणि समाधानाचे जावो हीच सदिच्छा.

नवीन वर्षात प्रवेश करताना गतवर्षाचा थोडक्यात आढावा…

मकर संक्रांत हा आमच्या समितीचा पहिला कार्यक्रम होता. त्याआधी मंडळात अगदीच नवीन असलेल्या आम्हा सर्वांना थोडी धाकधूक होती. परंतु आपणा सर्वांचा प्रतिसाद आणि पाठिंबा बघून आमचा उत्साह वाढला. मागच्या समित्यांनी चालू केलेले चांगले कार्यक्रमव उपक्रम पुढे सुरु ठेवण्याबरोबरच मंडळाच्या सभासदांना उपयोगी पडतील असे काही नवीन उपक्रम सुरु करण्याचा प्रयत्न आम्ही मागील वर्षात केला. मराठी वाचनालय, ‘आरंभ’ हे मराठी त्रैमासिक तसेच लहान मुलांसाठी दिवाळी किल्ला, रांगोळी प्रदर्शनयांसारख्या उपक्रमांच्या माध्यमातून मराठी संस्कृती आणि भाषेच्या अधिक जवळ जाण्याचा एक प्रयत्न आम्ही केला.

त्या सर्व उपक्रमांना आपण जो भरघोस प्रतिसाद दिलात त्याबद्दल सर्वांचे आभार.

येत्या नववर्षात अजून काही नवीन गोष्टी, उपक्रम करण्याचा आमचा प्रयत्न असेल. वेळोवेळी त्याबद्दलची माहिती आम्ही आपल्याला कळवत राहूच. युटा मराठी मंडळाला असलेला आपला पाठिंबा येत्या वर्षात अजूनच वृद्धिंगत होईल यात शंकाच नाही.

२०१९ मध्ये मंडळाचे कार्यक्रम आणि इतर काही उपक्रम यांच्या माध्यमातून आपली भेट होतंच राहील आणि त्याची आम्ही सर्वजण आतुरतेने वाट पाहत आहोत.

या वर्षीचा पहिला कार्यक्रम म्हणजे मकर संक्रांत,

मंडळाने हा कार्यक्रम शनिवार दिनांक १९ जानेवारी २०१९ या दिवशी सकाळी ११ वाजता करण्याचे ठरविले आहे.

मंडळाच्या सर्व सभासदांनी तसेच युटा परिसरात आलेल्या नवीन मंडळींनी या कार्यक्रमाला आवर्जून उपस्थित राहावे ही विनंती

Wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year 2019.

While we welcome the new year, let’s take a moment and look back at last year.

As the committee, Makar Sankranti was our first event. We were bit nervous as most of the members in the committee were new. But due to you support and encouragement, our confidence grew. We were determined to not just continue with the good programs started by previous committees but also start new initiatives to help our members.

Marathi library, our quarterly magazine ‘Aarambh’ and various programs arranged for kids and members were few such initiatives that we thought would help us connect with Marathi language and culture.

We thank you all for the support and encouragement you have shown for these initiatives.

We will continue to work on such new things in the coming year also. We will keep you posted about them as time comes.

We are looking forward to meeting every existing member and new friends during UMM events in 2019.
